DESCRIPTION:MAY 4 & 5th\, 2019 IS FREE COMIC BOOK WEEKEND AT COLLECTOR’S COMICS \nWorldwide Free Comic Book Day Comes to Port Saint Lucie with Comics for All! \nCollector’s Comics in Port Saint Lucie is one of the thousands of comic book shops around the world celebrating the largest event in the comic book industry on Saturday\, May 4th: Free Comic Book Day (FCBD)! Each year\, thousands of participating stores give away over five million comic books to millions of fans to introduce them to the wonders of comics. \n“Free Comic Book Day is a great event for the whole community. Bringing everyone together\, finding books for everyone to enjoy\, and seeing people of all ages—children\, teens\, and adults—sharing our passion for comics is incredible\,” said Keith Mallow\, President of Collector’s Comics. “Even if you’ve never picked up a comic book\, we want to welcome everyone to Collector’s Comics on May 4th\, because there are so many amazing comics this year and we can’t wait to share them.” \n\nThis is the 15th year Collector’s Comics will celebrate FCBD\, offering the community a fun\, family-oriented event where everyone can find a comic they’ll enjoy.\nMike DeCarlo\, artist on many DC and Marvel titles including Death in the Family\, – the Death of Jason Todd\, will be in attendance signing autographs and doing sketches.\nWe will be accepting donations of food for people and pets for comics in our back-issue bins. Get a free $4 value comic with each food item donated up to 10 $4 books.\nThere will be a costume contest with prizes for three different age groups.\nMandalorian Mercs will be at the store for free photo ops.\nEverything in the store 10%-90% OFF.\n\n“With awesome titles like Ghost Hog #1\, The Tick\, Spider-Man\, Star Wars Adventures Droid Hunters\, Avengers\, Bloodshot Special\, Pokemon\, Casper’s Spookville\, Dear Justice League Special Edition\, Little Lulu World’s Best\, Vampirella 50th Anniversary\, Riverdale Season 3 Special\, we’re sure there’s a comic book for everyone\,” Mallow continued. “Comics are a fun and enduring form of entertainment for readers of all ages to dive into as imagination comes to life.
